"What I know...so far"

It hardly seems possible but the calendar does not lie. It was 35 years ago that I completed seminary and began work as a full-time pastor. There are some things that I'm less certain about than ever. But there are other things that I know and that's what I will write about, perhaps every week, perhaps just when the mood strikes.

Gotta Serve Somebody

The weekly musings of a part-time seminarian and Associate Pastor. I invite you to join me as I share what God is doing in my life along with insights and wisdom I pick up along the way.

Joshua 24:14-15 (New International Version)

14 "Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. 15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
