Worship: Love to Pray-A friend in the middle
 | Special guest on September 26 we are delighted to welcome as our musical guest French horn player Julie Rochus who has just finished her first season with the National Academy Orchestra of Canada with Maestro Boris Brott. In 2008 and 2009, Julie performed with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, receiving a scholarship in 2009 for her leadership role within the orchestra. She also performed recently with the Royal Conservatory Orchestra and the Toronto Philharmonia. As a chamber musician, this spring Julie had the honour of performing in a masterclass for Leon Fleisher with her group "Trio Max". Her wind quintet, "Summer Winds" advanced to the finals of the Glenn Gould Chamber Music Competition (2010) and performed in a concert series at the Art Gallery of Ontario. In 2006, Julie participated in the Brass Masterclass program at the Banff Centre for the Arts. Julie completed her Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School in April 2010 and graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2008 with an Honours Bachelor of Music. |
