Worship

So much is said, written, and argued about worship.  I think this is because the Object of worship gets lost.  We remember the subject of the worship, but often another object gets our attention.  In corporate worship, this could be songs, hymns, styles, candles, creeds...all good things, but not the thing.

God is both object and subject of our worship.  If anything else becomes the object of our attention during these times, we are not truly worshipping God.  We gather together on Sundays to express as a body our devotion to God, to be reminded of His character, vastness, and majesty, and to stand in awe and adoration.  We invite you to not celebrate a musical style, a contemporary flavor, or a traditional heritage, but a living God, who is past, present, and future.
